As the last forces personnel were evacuated from Kabul in August 2021, two German soldiers were accidentally left behind, leading to an incredible rescue mission, led by an RAF Flight Lieutenant.
A call from the German Ops centre asked Flight Lieutenant Jenkins to fly back into Kabul. His mission... to rescue the two German soldiers who'd been left behind amidst the chaos.
