General Enquiries and Media Enquiries

If you know the individual or section that you wish to contact, please call the RAF Benson switchboard on 01491 837766 and either input the extension number if known, or hold for the operator to be directed to the relevant section.

The Media and Communications Officer, Flt Lt Barry Robinson, will receive enquiries from the media and the general public about RAF Benson, its aircraft, and its activities. Please note that this does not include flying complaints (please see below for contacts for flying complaints).

Flying Complaints

All flying complaints within the RAF Benson Military Air Traffic Zone (approximately a 5 mile radius of RAF Benson) should be directly to the RAF Benson Low Flying Complaints Team on 01491 837766 extension 5218 or email to BEN-OPSWG-STNOPS@mod.uk.

All flying complaints outside this area should be directed to the Ministry of Defence Low Flying Complaints Team on 0207 218 6020 or email lowflying@mod.uk.

Station Operations is responsible for all aircraft movements at RAF Benson.

Work Experience

If you would like to apply for a work experience placement at RAF Benson, please read the information given on the website prior to making initial contact with the Work Experience Team. Full details of the scheme are given online, as is an application form which should be submitted as soon as possible to ensure maximum chance of obtaining a placement.

Families' Club

Please note - there is no external Careers Office at RAF Benson, therefore we are unable to offer any careers-related advice to civilians.
