Although RAF Benson is located in the heart of the countryside, both Reading and Oxford are only approx 12 miles away. Both cities offer good employment opportunities in a wide range of areas. For employment closer to home, there is a large Tesco supermarket in Didcot which often advertises for new staff. There is also a large range of hotels, pubs and restaurants in the local area offering employment.
