President of the Mess Committee's Welcome

Welcome to the Royal Air Force Benson Officers' Mess website. We hope that you find the information below of use; however if there is anything else you require please do get in contact with the President of the Mess Committee (PMC) or Mess Secretary on the contact details below.

We are justifiably proud of the Officers' Mess at RAF Benson; both for the facilities it provides our Mess Members and for the welcoming atmosphere it gives to our families. Staffed largely by Service Personnel, the Mess is asuperbly appointed building, offering rooms in the main building and an annex as well as an outdoor eating area and numerous social events for all Officers based at RAF Benson.

The Mess is easily accessible and situatedon the domestic side of the Station. Turn right after entering the Station andtake the first right (at the 90° bend in the road). The Officers' Mess is thelarge building on your left. There are ample parking spaces in the vicinity,with the main parking area situated to the front of the Mess (follow the roadaround to your right). The front entrance to the Mess faces the external roadand is secluded by trees.

Mess Function Diary

Rather than produce a list of events, the Officers' Mess has created a calendar showing a list of functions that will be taking place during 2011. (This is a Word document)

Mess Rules

As with any Officers' Mess in the Royal Air Force, rules are enforced to ensure the Mess operates in an effective and appropriate manner. The rules for RAF Benson Officers' Mess, as agreed by the Mess Committee and sanctioned by the President of the Mess Committee and Station Commander, are available here.
