Children's Activities

There are a number of children's activities available on the Station and in the local community for children of all ages.

Youth Club

The Station Youth Club caters for children from aged 8 to 16 years. More information is available on the Youth Club page including session times and prices.

Bumps to Tots

The Bumps to Tots group runs regular sessions on the Station for all stages of early childhood, from expectant mothers to pre-school age children. More information is available on the Bumps to Tots page, including links to their Facebook page where regular updates on activities are posted.

Girl Guiding

Rainbows, Brownies and Guides all have packs on the Station, as well as in the local community. For more information please see the Girl Guiding page.

Scouting

Cubs, Beavers and Scouts all have packs on the Station, as well as in the local community. For more information please see the Scouting page.

Youth Activities Liaison Officer

For groups not based at RAF Benson, such as local schools and community groups, the Youth Activities Liaison Officer (YALO) is available to offer advice and assistance on behalf of RAF Benson. For more information please see the YALO page.

Work Experience

For students in full time education aged above 14, it may be possible to undertaken work experience at RAF Benson. However, we should advise that the scheme is very popular and, due to operational commitments, the placements available are limited. For more information please see our Work Experience page.
