The CIS Aerial Erectors Apprenticeship
The Royal Air Force (RAF) employs approximately 3000 Information Communications and Technologies (ICT) Specialists who work on equipment from tactical satellite systems and local area networks to airfield navigation and communication systems – the kit that enables the RAF to undertake effective air operations on a global scale. As a ICT Apprentice you'll be trained to the highest standards to operate, enable, and maintain the RAF's many different communications and information systems.
Students of the Aerial Erector Basic course (AEB) are registered with the appropriate awarding bodies and work towards achieving their Apprenticeship in Telecommunications. Candidates successfully completing the Apprenticeship will, as a minimum, achieve recognition for the following:
