Qualifications needed: 2 GCSEs/Standards at grade C/3 in English Language and Maths

Qualifications you can gain: NVQ in Information Technology (Level 2)

Track aircraft, missiles and satellites using state-of-the-art radar. Identify them with the most advanced computer systems. Plot their speed and determine their position and purpose.

Got the cool head and clear voice needed to communicate information in high-pressure situations? Then take UK defence in your hands as an RAF Aerospace Systems Operator.

You could specialise as a Weapons Controller (supporting troops under fire on overseas operations) or Surveillance Operator, where you’ll join Aircrews on board the Sentry E-3D aircraft – and take your skills to new heights.
