Qualifications needed: 2 A-levels or 3 Highers, at least one of which must be in a science subject, plus 5 GCSEs/Standards at Grade C/3 minimum in English Language, Maths, Biology or Human Biology, Physics and Chemistry

Qualifications you can gain: BSc in Biomedical Science

Studying the behaviour and biology of micro-organisms. Examining and analysing patient blood and fluid tests. Helping doctors make life-saving diagnoses.

Working in top-of-the-range pathology labs in a number of tri-Service hospital units in the UK and Cyprus, Biomedical Scientists are trained in all aspects of pathology and can identify anything at the other end of a microscope.
