Good health is vital to the well-being of the RAF community and to the operational performance of RAF personnel.
And to maintain good health – particularly in the necessarily risky training environments of RAF bases – is a challenge the RAF face every day.
That’s where Environmental Health Technicians come in. Charged with identifying, evaluating and controlling chemical, biological and physical hazards across a range of RAF stations, Environmental Health Technicians are responsible for the welfare and safety of a vast number of RAF personnel.
They’re also experts in (and provide advice on) all aspects of occupational and environmental health, from disposing toxic waste to maintaining hygiene in the field.
