One of the RAF’s main battle roles is to support troops on the ground. This could be dropping bombs on enemy forces, resupplying our friendly troops or evacuating casualties. The Flight Operations Officer role is to act as a focal point – bringing all these different tasks together in a way that will lead to the success of the mission.

A fast-moving, dynamic environment where plan A is rarely implemented, goal posts frequently move and priorities are constantly reassessed.

Wherever the action takes the RAF, you’ll find Flight Operations Officers in the thick of it – from every operations room on every RAF station, to detachments and overseas missions.

Have you got what it takes to rise to the challenge and do whatever it takes to ensure mission success?
