Fully trained in management, logistics and IT, and with one of the largest supply computer networks in Europe at their fingertips, Logistics Officers have all the skills needed to face the day-to-day challenges of supplying the parts that keep the RAF flying. This could include anything from providing aircraft spares, supplying fuels and explosives and moving freight and people by road and air. Logistics Officers are also responsible for feeding and accommodating servicemen and women.
Have you got what it takes to ensure your team provides cost-effective and timely support to a range of multi-million pound projects?
To manage the responsibility of being a Logistics Officer, you need to be the right person for the job. That’s why the RAF offers a range of Sponsorship deals – from £1,000 at sixth form to £6,000 at university.
Of course if you’re the right age and already think you’re one of the RAF’s future Logistics Officers, there’s always Welbeck – the Defence Sixth Form College – where you can take part in a range of sports, social and leadership activities, as well as doing your A-levels.
