Qualifications you need: 2 GCSEs/Standards at grade G/6 minimum or equivalent in English Language and Maths
Qualifications you can gain: Apprenticeship in Medical Assistance (3 qualifications); City & Guilds Certificates in Emergency and Primary Healthcare and Medical Assistance; Health and Safety Executive Certificate in First Aid; Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number (Level 2); NVQ in Medical Assistance (Level 2)
Monitoring and looking after the health of RAF Aircrews. Assisting RAF and civilian Medical Emergency Response Teams (MERT). Caring for injured personnel on Aeromedical Evacuation missions.
From tri-Service hospitals to battlefield command posts, RAF Medics are multi-skilled personnel used in a number of essential services, at home and overseas – and may even undergo further training to become a State Registered Paramedic.
