Qualification needed: GCSEs/Standards at grade G/6 minimum in English Language and Maths. Plus grade 8 ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music)

Qualification you can gain: LRSM (Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music) diploma

From parade squares to symphony halls to State ceremonies, Musicians play every kind of concert at every type of venue. Symphonic wind bands, marching bands, dance bands, jazz groups, brass and woodwind quintets, Musicians play it all.

And Musicians lead lives as non-stop as other RAF personnel – rehearsing, practising, travelling and, of course, performing.

As well as all this, Musicians are also first aid trained and play a key role in medical support.
