Leading a full team of highly-trained military nurses. Running a ward at The Princess Mary’s Hospital in Cyprus. Caring for RAF personnel in a specialist medical unit of a UK station. Providing emergency medical treatment at 30,000 feet, aboard a fixed-wing CASEVAC (Casualty Evacuation) aircraft.
Wherever you are, as an RAF Nursing Officer you’ll be equipped to provide the very highest standards of nursing care. And there’s a real chance you could be doing any of the above – the RAF like to give their Nursing Officers new postings every two or three years – to help keep their skills sharp.
