Qualifications you need: 2 GCSEs/Standards at grade G/6 minimum or equivalent in English Language and Maths
Qualifications you can gain: NVQ Level 3 in Aircraft Engineering Maintenance
Survival Equipment Fitters are responsible for repairing and maintaining everything an Aircrew might need to survive. This includes life rafts, air-sea rescue equipment, life preservers, parachutes, ejection seat components, flying helmets, oxygen masks and pressure suits.
Attention to detail and a highly methodical approach are essential.
