More great challenges to rise to

Learn to pilot a range of light aircraft and gliders. Get the chance to fly in civilian and RAF aircraft. Develop the ability to lead expeditions. Tour foreign countries. Become a sharp-shooting marksman. Get to know aviation and aerospace inside out. Sound exciting?

If you’re 13-20, the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO) is the perfect place for you to get a real taste of the Royal Air Force – every week. Fully supported by the RAF, the Air Cadets gives you the chance to experience the activities – and develop some of the skills – which are an everyday part of RAF life.

With almost 1,000 squadrons spread across the UK, you’re sure to find a base near you. And you’ll find plenty of like-minded people among its 34,000 members.
