Learn how time flies in the RAF

Want to know more about the history of the RAF? About how flying has changed over the last century? Want to see loads of examples of aircraft through the ages? Then visit the RAF Museum!

In two different locations – London and Cosford (Midlands) – the RAF Museum is the perfect way to spend a day steeped in the history of the Royal Air Force.

Built on the historic site of the London Aerodome, the RAF’s London Museum is home to over 100 exciting aircraft displays, including early designs, war aircraft and even the latest fast jets.

Cosford, as well as having over 70 aircraft displays, also has missiles, and research and development collections. It also houses the National Cold War Exhibition, which has lots of interactive displays to let visitors get a real idea about what life was like during the Cold War.
