Thank you for taking an interest in Bristol University Air Squadron (BUAS)

Located at Colerne Airfield, we are one of 14 UAS in the UK. Our aim is to attract high quality undergraduates and develop them through the activities we offer, thus helping to prepare them for future life, either in the Royal Air Force or a civilian career.

BUAS provides an environment where Squadron members have the opportunity to develop their leadership, management and organisational skills through adventurous training, expeditions and sporting activities. At the same time all Squadron members have the unique opportunity to learn to fly with RAF flying instructors.

There is no commitment for our volunteer members to join the RAF upon graduation however, if the lifestyle appeals to you, we can help with your application to join the RAF or request sponsorship.
