Social

The squadron is not just a training and sporting organisation, the social side is very important. Each week, during term time and after the training night, members usually stay to socialise with like-minded colleagues in the squadron bar before heading out to Bristol or Bath. On the slightly more formal side there are several dining-in nights each year as well as the German-themed Novemberfest, Christmas Draw and Summer Ball. These events occur every year and other occasions are assembled on an ad-hoc basis as we decide we want a party!

The many sporting events we partake in give us an opportunity to get to know the other units and organisations better, and also the chance to enjoy a barbeque and to socialise with members of the university air squadrons.
