The job

Intelligence Analysts (Voice) listen to, monitor and analyse radio messages that are broadcast throughout the world. You’ll operate a wide variety of state-of-the-art receiving and recording systems, specialising in voice communications. To do your work you’ll undertake a long and challenging training course, graduating as a linguist in a modern language. As your career progresses, you’ll have further opportunities to upgrade your language skills. For security reasons, details of the work you’ll do are restricted, but you’ll need a high standard of hearing and security clearance is required.
