Our careers offices are often busy so it’s a good idea to make an appointment in advance. You can do this by calling 0845 605 5555.

Your first appointment is just an informal chat and you’ll be under no obligation to sign up. Before you go, have a think about what career you might like to do in the RAF and bring along details of any qualifications or work experience you have. There’s no need to wear a suit but it’s a good idea to dress smartly – first impressions count!

If your chat goes well, you’ll be invited for a more formal first interview. This will be with a member of our AFCO staff who will ask you questions about the career you have in mind and what you think you could bring to the RAF.
