Qualifications you need: 2 GCSEs/SCEs at Grade G/6 minimum or equivalent in English language and maths, and Grade 8 ABRSM minimum

The job
RAF Musicians play at venues from symphony halls to graduation ceremonies on military parade squares, and encompass all kinds of disciplines – brass, woodwind, percussion and strings. You’ll provide musical support for all sorts of events, from dinners and dances to visits by Heads of State. You could play in dance bands, jazz bands, and baroque brass and woodwind quintets. Rehearsals, individual practice, developing a second instrument, travelling and performing – RAF Musicians lead full and active lives.
Responsibility
