As an initial step towards determining your eligibility, you should forward copies of the following:

a. Birth certificate.
b. Bio-data page of your passport.
c. All educational qualifications held or details of studies currently being undertaken.
d. A brief personal history, including full details of addresses resided at for the last 10 years.
e. Nationality details of parents.
f. The branches or trades you are interested in applying for in the Royal Air Force.

You would wish to be aware that we could only undertake part of our selection process overseas. It may be possible for you to complete the preliminary stages of the application process whilst remaining in your country of residence, however, you would have to travel to the UK to complete the final stages of the selection process should you be invited to do so. You would have to travel at your own expense, and maintain yourself here during the selection process, in which you may or may not be successful. This only applies to applications for Officer branches or Airmen Aircrew categories. Applications for Ground Trades (Airmen) must be made in person at an Armed Forces Careers Office in the United Kingdom, details of which can be found on this website.
