If you join as an officer you can expect to be paid the following:

Pilot Officer | £24,615 |
Flying Officer | £29,586 – £32,702 |
Flight Lieutenant | £37,915 – £45,090 |
Squadron Leader | £47,760 – £57,199 |
There are different pay scales for some specialist officers and for people who join as graduates or with professional qualifications.
Within the pay scales above, your salary will be determined by your experience and your performance.
RAF pay and charges are reviewed annually.
