RAF Association Dambusters 70th Anniversary Golf Day

At Burhill Golf Club - in June 1940 Burhills clubhouse was requisitioned by the Ministry for Aircraft Production. Working from the partitioned dining room, Barnes Wallis designed several aircraft and weapons including the bouncing bomb. Arrival from 9am for coffee and bacon rolls, a shotgun start on the Old Course with a 4bbb team prize followed by a 3 course carvery.
