Cholmondeley Castle 2009
Show report by Sgt Steve Spencer
A large crowd welcomed the RAF Falcons to The Cholmondeley Castle fun day. The Team boarded their aircraft at Wolverhampton Airport for the 20 min flight to the drop zone. Low cloud and drizzle restricted the Team to a low show from 2500 ft and with the spectators and celebrities on the edge of thier seats the display began. The Team quickly formed their world famous non contact canopy stack and skillfully guided themselves into the drop zone below under the guidance of the Team coach Toby Goodchild. A rapturous applause was given to the Team at the line up and a great day was had by all.The RAF Falcons would like to again thank Grant Richards and Cholmondley Castle for inviting us to perform.
