Lyme Regis 2009
Show report by Sgt Martin Peace
The RAF Falcons conducted a display onto the beach at Lyme Regis. The Team travelled from RAF Odiham flying in a grand caravan from The London Parachute Centre at Lewknor. The flight itself took around 35 mins with the team eagerly awaiting the call to exit the aircraft over the beach and greet the always wonderful crowds that this event produces year in year out. The Team exited the aircraft at 2500 ft this was due to the low cloud base over the drop zone. The Team produced a fantastic non contact canopy stack and with extreme precision landed onto the beach in front of hundreds of fans and wellwishers. This demonstartion is a favourite of many of the Team and this year didn't diaspoint. The RAF Falcons would like to thank the London Parachute Centre for the use of their aircraft and the lovely people of Lyme Regis for inviting us to perform.
