On the 8 Aug 09, a beautiful day greeted the RAF Falcons at Lyneham for thier display into the families day. The Team met thier jump platform for the day at RAF Lyneham which would be the display Chinook from 18 sqn RAF Odiham. We climbed to 10000 ft which equals the highest show the Team has performed this season. The Team exited with a 6 man formation with 2 jumpers exiting ready to ' cog on' in mid air with the remaining man on video filming the formation. Smokes blazing the Team deployed thier parachutes at 5000 ft and with quick precision formed the world famous Falcons 9 man non-contact canopy stack. With barely a cloud in the sky the Team manovered thier way towards the drop zone with the Team Coach leading them to an accurate landing into the small arena in front of a very apprciative crowd.
