Manchester Rugby Sevens 2009
Show report by Sgt Martin Peace
The RAF Falcons conducted a display into the Manchester Rugby 7's. The Team boraded their aircraft at RAF Brize Norton and travelled up to Manchester for the 1800 hrs Phr. After circling the drop zone for 10 mins and at a height of 3500 ft the order from FS Toby Goodchild to exit the aircraft came and we began our display. The Team quickly built their world famous non contact canopy stack much to the delight of the massive and expectant crowd on the rugby pitch below. A tricky entry into the arena was tackled skillfully and safely and the Team landed to rapturous applause from the spectators. The Team would like to thank Grant Richards for the use of his aircraft and the Manchester Rugby 7's for inviting us.
