The RAF Falcons conducted a display into Welshpool on Saturday 18 Jul 09.The Teams aircraft for the day was the Skyvan, the tenth different aircraft of the season. We boarded at Weston on the Green and exited over Welshpool approximately 20 mins later at a height of 2500 ft. Stunning views of the welsh countryside greeted our arrival as well as the fantastic crowds below. The Team quickly formed the non contact canopy stack and landed with extreme precision into the arena to the soundtrack of Top Gun. The musical arrival was a first for the Team this season and was throughly enjoyed by all. The RAF Falcons would like to thank Skydive Weston for the use of their aircraft and the Welshpool Airshow for inviting us to perform.
