Following the RAF Halton Home Day display on 12 Jun 10, the Falcons remounted in the Sibson caravan from Halton airfield heading to their home base, RAF Brize Norton for the families day. This time the Team had a different display format planned, they were to perform a 3 man flag stack, closely followed by the 7 man non-contact Falcons Stack. On the Flags we Sgt Brookes (RAF ensign flag), Cpl Wright (Union Jack flag) and Sgt Thomas (Peli sponsor flag) . The weather conditions were the same as at Halton, with the cloud base dictating a low display. A 3000ft exit was agreed on over the RAF Brize Norton drop-zone. Everything went as the Team had rehearsed and the Flag team deployed their flags and landed with excellent accuracy. Closely behind the 7 man non-contact stack built quickly and safely and was soon on the ground in front of hundreds of impressed spectators.
