St Athan Families Day 2010

On Thursday 3rd June the Falcons conducted their famous display into St Athan for SFSG families’ day. After the pre-display briefing the team took the short flight from RAF Brize Norton in a Caravan Aircraft flown by Grant Richards from Sibson Parachute Centre.
After the successful dummy run the team began their last minute preparation before the Famous “Smoke, Ready…Set…Go…” by FS Toby Goodchild, Team Coach. The team exited the aircraft at 5,000ft to conduct a low show in front of the anxious awaiting crowd. Third year Sgt Tony Brooks led in a 3 man flag team closely followed by the world renowned Falcons non-contact stack with the remaining 8 team members lead by the Team coach. The team landed accurately round the crosses to the reputes applause of the impressed crowd.
