2009 TEAM

New Team Members

We are delighted to extend a very warm welcome to our new Team members for the 2009 season - Deputy Officer Commanding, Flt Lt Rory Jackson and first year Falcons, Sgt Martin Peace, Cpl Brian Wright and Sgt Matt Thomas. Sgt Peace and Sgt Thomas come to us from the Military Training Flight at the No.1 Parachute Training School with Cpl Wright coming from 16 Air Assault Brigade at Wattisham. We also welcome Cpls Mohammed Khazir and Ally Insch our new Survival Equipment Fitters who will form part of the Drop Zone Team. They both come to us from the highly specialised Parachute Armament Engineering Facility here at RAF Brize Norton.

Goodbyes

At the beginning of the 2009 season we find ourselves saying a very reluctant goodbye to third year Team members Sgt Garry Wotton, Sgt Mike Maguire and Sgt Jon Keast. All three have qualifield as Military Freefall Instructors and have progressed to instructor positions within No.1 Parachute Training School. WO Headley has left the Team and moved back to 16 Air Assault Brigade. Cpl Clue has returned to the specialised Parachute Armament Engineering Flight and Cpl Morgan has moved to the Recruit Training School at RAF Halton.
