Flt Lt Jon Conner
Jon was born in Oxford in December 1972 and joined the Royal Air Force as a Physical Training Instructor in 1995. He completed tours at RAF Cosford and RITC Fairbourne where he worked as an Adventure training Instructor. After several years instructing mountaineering, climbing and kayaking he moved to the Parachute School at RAF Brize Norton. He completed a variety of tours within the military parachuting fraternity, including 3 years on the RAF Falcons. Since then Jon has completed his Officer training and has worked in several roles within the Airborne Delivery Wing. He is now looking forward to his second tour with the Falcons where his duties will not only involve jumping, but also working as the Drop Zone Safety Officer. Jon likes to keep himself fit and enjoys weight training and all physical sports, especially rugby. He is married to Tara and has 2 children, Abbie 14 and Alfie 5.
