Flt Lt Ruairidh Jackson

Ruairidh was born in Yeovil, Somerset is 27 years old and will be undertaking his first year on the Team as Deputy Officer Commanding. Ruairidh joined the RAF in May 2006 after completeing a BSc (Hons) and an MSc in Sports and Exercise Science at UWIC in Cardiff. He also worked as a part time lecturer. He completed one short tour at RAF Cranwell before being selected for parachute duties at No.1 Parachute Training School. Ruairidh enjoys most sports and outdoor activities especially rugby, having played for Gloucester RFC and been a member of the Scotland U19 development team.
