Flight Sergeant Toby Goodchild

Toby was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire in 1970, and comes from a military background, his father serving in the Royal Navy. He joined the RAF in 1989 as a Physical Training Instructor, before completing tours at RAF Coningsby and RAF Finingley. He fulfilled his ambition to become a Military Parachute Jump Instructor in 1994. This is Toby’s second tour on the Team, having served with them from 1996-1998. Toby has completed a variety of tours within military parachuting and is also a British Parachute Accelerated Freefall and Tandem Instructor, having completed 4000 jumps. Toby is a keen sportsman whose interests include Football, skydiving and keeping himself fit.
