Sgt Jimmy O'Brien
James (Jimmy) was born in Bury, Lancashire in June 1981 and was educated at Castlebrook High School before studying his A-Levels at Bury College. Jimmy joined the RAF in April 2000 as a Physical Training Instructor and has completed tours at RAF College Cranwell, Bosnia and RAF Cottesmore. After becoming a Parachute Jumping Instructor in December 2005, he served on Military Training Flight at RAF Brize Norton before being selected for duties as an RAF Falcon in August 2007. Jimmy is married to Natalie and has two sons, Declan and Callum who are 3 and 2 years old. Jimmy enjoys most sports especially football.
Sgt Matt Allen
Matt was born in Morecambe in August 1976, and educated at Morecambe High School. Matt joined the RAF as a Physical Training Instructor in 1997 and has completed tours at RAF Waddington, MOD Manston and Falkland Islands. He was selected for Parachute Jumping Instructor duties in 2001 and completed a short tour on Military Training Flight (MTF) at RAF Brize Norton before returning to RAF Halton in 2002. In 2005 Matt was promoted to Sgt and returned to No.1 Parachute Training School completing a further tour within MTF before being selected in August 2007 for the RAF Falcons. He likes to keep himself fit and enjoys all sports especially football where he has represented the RAF.
Sgt Tony Brookes
Tony was born in Truro, Cornwall in 1979. He was educated at Truro School and is about to start his second year on the Display Team. Tony joined the Royal Air Force in 1997 as a Physical Training Instructor and has completed tours at RAF Lyneham, Falkland Islands and RAF College Cranwell. He was selected for Parachute Jumping Instructor duties in 2005, initially serving on Military Training Flight. He was responsible for teaching static line parachuting to airborne forces before being selected in August 2007 for the RAF Falcons. Tony likes to keep himself fit and enjoys weight training; he has also represented the RAF at Rugby Union.
