Squadron Leader 'Skids' Harrison

Squadron Leader Skids Harrison joined the RAF as a direct entrant in 1984, he spent 6 years flying the Buccaneer during which time he participated in the first Gulf War and several multi-national exercises.

Subsequent tours saw him become a Tactics Instructor and then a Qualified Weapons Instructor on the Hawk T1. Promoted to Sqn Ldr in 1997 he moved to 41(F) Sqn as a Jaguar Flight Commander where he took part in the protection of the Northern No-Fly Zone in Iraq numerous times.

In 2009 Sqn Ldr Harrison returned to Valley as a Flight Commander on 208 Sqn. He now lives in the Conwy area with his wife Tracey, daughter Emily, son Matthew and a dog.
