Flight Lieutenant Bruce Poole
Flight Lieutenant Bruce Poole joined the RAF as a direct entrant in 1990, he spent 4 years flying the Tornado GR1a at RAF Marham as a Navigator during which time he took part in several operational detachments and multi-national exercises.
After this, he completed a tour as a Navigation and Tactics Instructor on the Hawk T1 at RAF Valley. In 2001 he started training as a pilot and subsequently was posted back to the Tornado GR4 this time at RAF Lossiemouth.
In 2009 Flight Lieutenant Poole returned to RAF Valley as a Qualified Flying Instructor on 208 Sqn. He now lives on Anglesey, enjoying island life and teaching future pilots.
