Veteran's son Michael Day talks to RAF marchers during a rest break from marching. January 2010. Over 100 Royal Air Force and Air Training Corps personnel commemorated the 65th Anniversary of The Long March. They marched the exact route taken by Prisoners of War from Zagan to Spremberg, Poland to Germany during 1945. Accompanied by 5 RAF veterans, the volunteers started at the site of Stalag Luft III PoW camp and ended with a dedication ceremony at Spremberg Train Station.
