Certificate of Security and Assurance. For courses where UK information of a classified nature will be released, overseas governments MUST provide CERTIFICATES OF SECURITY AND ASSURANCE for their students. The certificates advise the level of clearance granted to the student for receipt of his own national information and give an assurance that any UK information passed to the student will be protected. This should be sent at least 2 months before the commencement of the training. A blank certificate can be obtained by British Defence Attachés/Advisers, on the Forms section of our website or requested from any IDT(RAF) Desk Officer.

It should be noted, that students will be given access to information and material, only up to the protective marking authorised by the MOD, for the particular training for which they have been accepted.
