Ex Decisive Leader
From SDSR to Afghanistan, within the corridors of power, decisions are made that direct our military output and shape our future. We will explore the decision making process through the chambers and meeting rooms of Westminster and Whitehall to the Offices of the MOD. Taking place 4th - 6th Jul 2011 for Officers and SNCOs. Ex Ad Astra
During the Staff Ride we will visit fascinating and world changing locations in France that chart the development of air power and the RAF from birth to current operations. From the beginings of air power at Saint Omer to the Battle of Amiens - one of the most critical battles in modern warfare. Taking place 20th - 23rd June. Combat Casualties & Recovery
During this event we heard the story of pioneering reconstructive surgery of burned Airmen in WWII then explored the pioneering work still saving lives today with the current members of front line Medical Emergency Response Teams in Afghanistan. Took place 27th April 2011.
Ex Aetherem
In April 2011 a superb Staff Ride left 90 SU for the D-Day beaches in Normandy to explore our future through reliving our history. The battlefield journey took us to the very places that changed world history as the Allied Armies invaded Hitler’s Fortress Europa. This event took place 18 - 22 April 2011.
Ex Centurion Shadow 2012
Centurion Shadow 2012 is due to take place on 5th November. The exercise is an inter unit field competition designed to promote ethos and self confidence within 90SU. Conceived to promote individuals fitness, leadership, and military skills, whilst building team cohesion and understanding, in preparation for future operations. Click the above link for more details.
