Tactical Communications Wing (TCW) is part of the newly formed 90 Signals Unit, but its origins date back to the Suez crisis of the mid 1950s. Since then TCW has been involved in every major conflict and operation, including the evacuation of Cyprus in 1974, the Falklands Conflict, both Gulf Wars, the conflict in the Balkans, Northern Ireland and more recently operations in Afghanistan.
