Notable Athletes:-

Flt Lt Arthur Wint from Jamaica. A doctor and a pilot and later won an Olympic gold.

AC Emmanual McDonald Bailey became AAA Champion several times and at one time equalled the World Record for 100 metres in Budapest, circa 10.2.

Bill Roberts, who won an Olympic gold in the 4 x 400 metres relay in Berlin along with Godfrey Brown, Godfrey Rampling and Freddie Wolf.

Gp Capt. Donald Finlay, although part of the team, was not in the photo but won his event.

Major G.H.G. Dyson, Coach. At the time Army but later transferred to the RAF and subsequently became the first professional AAA coach.
