Gate to Gate - 21 Mar
This is the first time this event has been run. It takes place between RAF Cottesmore and RAF Wittering over a 14 mile course and was started this year by Gp Capt Atherton, Stn Cdr of RAF Wittering. The race winner SAC Peter Ellis from RAF Benson. First female over the line was Fg Off Jo Johnson of RAF Cranwell. The 1st team home was the SSS from RAF Wittering. Force Commander (Cottesmore) Group Captain K McCann presented the prizes after the race. Special thanks go to BAE Systems for sponsoring the event.
