RAF Brize Norton Airfield Information
RAF Brize Norton is an extensive well-equipped airport located in Oxfordshire, approximately 17 miles west of Oxford (about 30 minutes travelling time to Oxford and 1 hour 50 minutes to central London). Full airport facilities are available, and even the very largest passenger or cargo aircraft can be handled 24 hours a day, subject to operational commitments and available capacity.
Prior permission is required at all times to land at, or to make an approach to, RAF Brize Norton. Practice Approaches are to be requested on the day of flight. Advance requests will not be accepted. All Practice Approach Requests are to be made via telephone +44(0)1993 897785. Pilots holding a valid MOD Waiver Certificate must send a copy prior to the flight taking place. All pilots are to ensure they have read the Brize Norton Aerodrome Brief prior to arrival.
RAF Brize Norton is also available for Training Flights, charges for which are at a significant discount to normal landing fees.
