Passenger Information Passport & Visa Requirements
PASSPORTS and VISAS
All passengers to carry a full and valid passport.
Before reporting for your flight, please ensure that you have a full and VALID Passport; this applies equally to service and civilian passengers alike. Passports issued in a different name than the flight booking will not be accepted and passengers will not be loaded to the flight.

Cyprus
Valid Passport & status stamp for dependants and civilians.
Non EU-nationals require 3 months validity on their passports from the date of return.
Notwithstanding the Treaty of Establishment and the Cyprus Travel Order (F Ident 173), all Service personnel travelling on duty to or from Cyprus are to hold a valid passport. Dependants and civilians require a valid passport bearing a status stamp.
Personnel visiting Cyprus on temporary duty are to ensure their passport is valid for the duration of their stay. Visits planned for longer than 90 days require additional visa documentation and personnel should seek advice from the DTMO Visa Section. Non-EU nationals require 3 months validity on their passports from the date of return.
Ascension Island
Non-MOD passengers travelling to Ascension Island require an entry permit.
With the exception of Ascension Island, there are no visa requirements for South Atlantic destinations, however, if you do not have a British or EU passport please ensure that you are correctly documented for your return to the UK. This may entail obtaining a UK entry visa prior to your departure. Such permits are not required if you are an EU national.
Non-MoD passengers travelling to Ascension require an entry permit. Further information and application forms are available on the Ascension Island website:

Passengers without an entry permit will not be allowed to board the aircraft.
Falkland Islands
For all military passengers, a passport valid for a min of 6 months at end of tour is required.

Falklands Entry requirements (Visitors)
On arrival in the Falkland Islands you must have:
- A passport that is valid for a minimum of six months after scheduled return date with a current visa if required.
- A return air ticket (or other evidence of pre-paid onward travel).
- Evidence of accommodation with family/friends/hotel/business.
- Sufficient funds to cover your stay in the Islands.
