The HIVE Information Centres
The HIVE Organisation is a Tri-Service network available to all members of the Service community, serving both married and single, together with their families and dependants, as well as civilians employed by the Services.
All HIVE staff are professionally trained to fulfill their roles as HIVE Information Officers. We are not trained in welfare counselling, but are able to offer initial support to individuals and can advise referral to those professional agencies best suited to the individuals circumstances.
All HIVE staff are bound to a code of confidentiality.
The HIVE Information Centres at RAF Brize Norton also offer the following:
Solicitor's Appointments - Solicitor Service: A free 45-minute consultation with a local solicitor is available to all Station personnel and dependants. The service is operated fortnightly.
Citizens Advice Bureau Outreach Service - Available at the Community Support Centre on Tuesdays 1000-1300 hrs. A confidential, impartial, free and independent service is available during opening hours to assist with a wide range of queries or problems. Call in or ring for an appointment on 01993 708492. (Witney CAB Office)
Child Support Agency - The CSA Forces Focal Point visits RAF Brize Norton monthly and appointments to discuss new and existing cases can be made through the HIVE.
