Day 2

After a breakfast of porridge, bread and jam, and coffee we were in the saddle for 07.30 and back on the road. It was an emotional day of very hot weather, head on winds and large wimding hills. It was also a day of never ending straight roads, like you have all seen in the talking heads video, road to nowhere. Unbelievable. However after 10 hours we came to the finish for the day. We were both exausted and tired aswell as starving. Tea was a chili con carnie and cream cakes to replace energy. The RV is proving to be worth it's weight in gold and the team of Roy, Andy and Pete are doing an outstanding job all round. And the journey could not have started without their support and experience within their feilds. It is now 23.20 and well past the time I should be sleeping.
