Station Information

RAF Cosford is set in the quiet and beautiful countryside of Shropshire, 150 miles (250 km) north-west of London.

Located adjacent to the A41, near Junction 3 of the M54, it has good road connections to the M6/M5 motorways; it also has its own railway station with regular services to Wolverhampton, with onward connections to Birmingham, London and Shrewsbury.

Local Community Initiative Fund

  • The purpose of the LCIF is for charitable causes or projects to request for grants from RAF Cosford. Monies may be granted to the local community of RAF Cosford no further than 20 miles radius of the base, decided upon by the Committee as being worthwhile. Monies may only be granted to a cause or project outside of specified local community in exceptional circumstances. Please use the application form on this website to apply.
