75 Years of RAF Cosford

We need your help!

RAF Cosford was officially 75 years of age on 15 July 2013. Conceived as part of the pre-World War 2 RAF Expansion Plan, Cosford was originally destined to be an Aircraft Storage Unit. However, it was also soon identified as a suitable location to house one of the then much needed additional Technical Training Schools and hence the site also became the home of No2 School of Technical Training (No2 SofTT).

DECORATION.

Because of the uncertainty over RAF Cosford, it is envisioned that the unit will produce a publication, and an associated time-line, detailing historical events and personal recollections that represent the life of the Unit.

Whatever your recollections we would like to hear them and possibly use them, along with any pictures that you might have, in a future publication.
